Surgical Menopause Campaign UK

In 2022 I set up a UK Petition for change, for women going through Surgical Menopause, to try and raise awareness and highlight the issues we face. We are campaigning for better NHS care and support for women in Surgical Menopause.

Many of these women, end up in crisis situations, being left chronically hormone deficient, have to give up their careers due to the severity of the symptoms they face, forced into debt to pay for private care, due to being failed by the NHS.

A Hysterectomy with Ovary removal, can have extremely negative mental and physical health outcomes for these women or non-binary genders, and can often take away the little quality of life they once had.

With effective Hormone Replacement Therapy and management of it alongside further education and support, these women, too can thrive. 

But we need help to raise awareness of this.
